Entitled customer pays $40 to get car unlocked at the last minute, employee gets even with him: ‘I throw his keys in the car, lock the doors… and leave’: – FAIL Blog

This customer was totally bewildered at the thought of having to pay for a service.

If you can’t do something yourself, you have to pay someone to do it for you, and that makes the world go round! A lot of people balk at paying for services or items that seem low-effort (in their opinions). This happens constantly with artists: people will view their work and say, “Pshh, I could do that!” The reply is, “Okay, go ahead!” If you wanted to, you would. But you can’t, so hand over that cash, pal.

One customer didn’t want to pay for a service because it was very quick to do. I get that that can be frustrating. Like if you’ve ever had a plumber come over and fix your sink in two minutes flat, then charge you a three-figure sum, you might be gritting your teeth while scribbling out a check. But if you could’ve unclogged your sink on your own, you wouldn’t need to fork over the money for expertise. Give and take!

This customer also learned a valuable lesson about being polite to service workers. They already have to deal with poor working conditions and grouchy customers day in and day out. Why make their lives any more difficult than they need to be?

Next, read about these valiant quitters who left their bosses to handle their work, like one person who scoffed, “After being there about 10 minutes, I decided… I’m out.”
